Power Failure
In case of power failing in your apartment in the first instance please check your internal circuit breaker operations and appliances before contacting the Strata Manager or BCS After Hours Service. Naturally, if the fault lies within your apartment then you will need to call your own electrical contractor.
Hot Water Service Interuptions
Should your hot water supply fail please contact the Strata Manager or the BCS After Hours Servicedirectly. Note that the hot water service to aparments is centrally supplied and is therefore not something you can fix yourself. Note too that all hot water is pre-set to a maximum of 50℃.
Lifts Problems
Occasionally you may find the lift is out of action which is denoted by an ‘X’ appearing in the indicator panel. This can be for any of three reasons: maintenance and repair; someone moving in or out; or a breakdown. In the first instances please be patient and either wait until operational again or use the fire stairs.
If you believe the lift is broken down in the first instance please call the Strata Manager or BCS After Hours Service before contacting Schindler Lifts directly.
If you become stuck in a lift, remain calm and press the emergency button which will connect you directly with Schindler Lifts Emergency Centre who will respond to the call within 20 seconds.
To help minimise the risk of breakdowns and expensive damage (impacting your levies) it is critical that lift doors are not held open for too long or knocked by a heavy object.
(Lift Protectors must be used at all times when moving in or out or when moving any substantial items. Contact the Strata Manager for access these. See also the ‘Moving In/Out’ .
Plumbing Problems
For any plumbing or other problems within your apartment please contact the recommended contractor (xxxx) as they have a good knowledge of the buildings.
Cleaning Issues
General cleaning of Common Property and Shared Facilities within Cammeray Square is carried out by our official contractor Havencab. Should you have any problems, issues or suggestiopns then in the first instance please advise the Strata Manager.
Common Property Problems
For any problems relating to Common Property such as Lifts, Car Park, Pumps in Residents’ Car park, or anything else external to you apartment please contact the Strata Manager or the BCS After Hours Service.
