‘Cammeray Square’, completed in November 2008, was designed by Marchese Partners Architects, developed by Hamptons Development and built by Southern Cross Constructions Ltd.
Ownership & Management
The Cammeray Square development comprises five separate registered ‘Strata’ or ‘Lots’ – Lot 1 being the ‘Residential’ strata and Lots 2- 5 (Retail, Commercial, Child Care and Car Park) the ‘Non-Residential’ components.
Lot 1 is owned by the SP81068 Owners Corporation on behalf of all apartment owners and is managed through an elected Executive Committee in accordance with SP81068 By-Laws.
Lots 2- 5 were acquired by and are now owned and managed by Stockland who lease the component parts to its tenants.
Facilities such as the Plaza, common access ways and services that are used by all Lots are known as ‘shared facilities’ the maintenance and costs of which are proportionately shared.
The whole of the Cammeray Square scheme is managed on behalf of all Lots by a Building Management Committee (BMC) governed by the requirements of registered Strata Management Statement (SMS).Strata Manager
To act on their behalf executing and administering daily operational requirements the Owners Corporation (Residential) and Stockland (Non-Residential) each has an appointed Strata Manager. For consistency and economy across all five Lots of the scheme both employ the same Strata Manager - BCS Body Corporate Services.
